Setting up your Box Office

To complete set up, you'll need to have already connected your Square merchant account in the ScaryGood Dashboard.

Download the app on the iOS App Store and log in with the same email and password that you use for the Dashboard, all set up instructions are directly in the app.

Our favorite set up

To begin selling and scanning tickets on-site, this is our favorite set up to use. Feel free to modify it for your specific on-site experience.

1. Sales windows

Use the iPad Box Office set up with a Zebra DS2278 Scanner (optional, but recommended) to easily scan tickets. You can mount the Square Stand permanently using the included hardware.

2. Online Check-In windows

Use an iPhone Sales & Scanning set up for Online Check-In. You can use the built-in Apple Tap to Pay support to sell tickets, or add a Square Reader to make taking payments a little easier.

3. Mobile set ups for additional help

Line getting backed up? Have your managers or other staff help by setting them up with an iPhone Sales & Scanning set up with Apple Tap to Pay, no additional hardware needed. Everyone can have a complete sales & scanning set up in their pocket!

4. Analytics in your pocket

The full suite of ScaryGood Analytics is available directly in our Box Office app so you can see how your entire night is performing in one place. You can also step in and help with sales or scanning when you need to.

Optionally add a Kiosk

If you'd like guests to be able to purchase their own tickets, you can use the Self-Service Kiosk mode that's built right into the Box Office app.
